Pasaydaan

May the darkness of evil be dispelled by the sun of virtuousness in this world.
May people receive what they desire for.
- Sant Dnyaneshwar

Inspired by these words from Sant.Dnyaneshwar's Pasaydaan, Dr Sharayu Ghole with 6 other like minded people established  Radhabai Hardikar Pranijat Mangal Sanstha to try to give back something to the society. About 15 years back she came to know about "Gujar-Nimbalkarwadi" village through one of her patients. Though this village is near Pune city, there are no proper roads and public transportation modes to reach the village. Just imagine what a lady in labor must be going through if she needs to reach a medical facility. That was a deciding factor for providing some help to this area. So initially she started providing medical help to this village. Going further with her noble cause, about 10 years back she started a 'HOME' for destitute children. She wanted it to be a HOME and not an institution. Thinking about their future she realized that it was more important to give them quality education hence she started a school within the same premises. And that's how ' SUMATI BALWAN' school was established where the children from nearby area could also get quality education.

'Sumati Balwan' is a school with a touch of difference where children learn while playing, singing dancing-unfolding their talents.
